Hi I’m Matcha, brother of Latte. I’m the swirly boy.

My rescue story starts when a cleaner found us in an empty apartment after our first family had moved out. We’re not sure how they managed to forget to pack us, but we have practiced our voices to make sure that we are never forgotten again. 

I’m a little quieter, but has a soft and rumbly purr like you wouldn’t believe. Of the two of us, Latte is more likely to pop in to check up on you, and I’m the happiest to be carried about. 

I took a little bit to warm up to the cats and people in Cheery Palace, but the rescue volunteers say I’m are doing very well! I get along with other cats, even if I can be slow to join in the play at times; I wouldn’t make too much trouble for a senior cat if you’ve got one in the house. I have done well with children as long as they are respectful and patient with me. I don’t think I’ve met a dog yet so as long as the introduction is careful and slow there shouldn’t be an issue. 

My diet currently consists of  Ziwi Peak dryfood and Orjien chicken and duck wet, but I have no dietary restrictions and so I could adjust to almost anything. I don’t particularly care for the Orjien Chicken and Duck so I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to switching it up! But of course, a slow switch over is recommended to keep tummies happy. 

The folks at Cheery Rescue promised my forever family will find me soon. I would need to be adopted into a home with another young playful cat.
