Listen, I have two speeds: Fast and Gone. Try to keep up.

My name is Pickle, I’m a quick ferment with a lot of tang and I make every sandwich better. Trust me on that; bring me home and every sandwich you make will be at least 30% more satisfying. That’s a Pickle guarantee.

I came into care with my half-sister Olive. We were owner surrenders; they just couldn’t keep the pace. Cheery Cat Rescue has managed to keep me on the track, but I’m a curious young lady and I’m ready for my final debut and to finally race on Home track.

If I’m being honest, I’m not a big cuddler. I love a pet and at the end of the day when it’s time to get cozy I could see settling in with you, but I’m a free spirit and when adventure calls I answer.

I play hard, I play fast, and I play with anyone. Young cats? Love them, let’s play. Kids? Hell yeah, same answer. Dogs? Okay, dogs I’m not sure about, but with a careful introduction and if they have a playful spirit I think we could make it work.

I’m pretty young yet, so I’m still learning how to temper my fire, you know? My manners aren’t always the best and I can forget that I’m sharp when I get excited. One day I’ll settle down, but it won’t be today so I’m probably not a good fit if you have a senior cat, or children too young to be cat savvy in the house.

I am currently fueled up on Ziwi Peak dryfood and Orijen wet, but I’m willing to change it up. Just remember that I am a high performance machine and any transition should be made in stages and with a probiotic to help things go down smooth.

I’ll be waiting in Cheery Palace, be prepared to be impressed.

The perfect garnish elevates an experience from satisfactory to profound. You’ve found her.

First, we don’t talk about the haircut. It was necessary when I came into care, but I will be quite happy when it finally grows back out. My name is Olive and it is an absolute pleasure to make your acquaintance.

I know Pickle just finished her profile, she is my half-sister and I love her dearly. But she’s always SO busy, running hither and yon, exhausting. I prefer my entertainment a little more.. cerebral. I’m a social butterfly, and I love to meet new people, learn all about them, and induct them as furniture. I do so enjoy it when we share “our pillow” at night.  My foster said something about.. ‘Boundaries’, was it? I’ve never met her and don’t know that I would care to.

I like to be actively involved in whatever you have going on. Working on something on the kitchen counter? I’m going to need to take a peek at that. Walking somewhere? Don’t worry, I’ll be directly underneath your feet. I suppose I could learn to play it a little cooler, but that will come with time and careful intentionality on your part.

I enjoy play, so a house with another young cat with high energy is a must, I probably wouldn’t be a great fit for a senior or a lower energy cat. Cat-savvy kids would be right up my alley; they’ll have almost as much energy as I do. Dogs I hesitate to comment on, I’ve never met one and would depend on you making sure the introduction goes slow and smooth.

I am currently doing very well on Ziwi Peak dry and Orijen wet, but have no dietary restrictions and so would be down for a slow transition to another food with a supportive probiotic.

I’m just a social sweety stuffed with love. Come visit me in the Cheery Palace for an experience so much more than satisfactory.

So I guess they meant what they said when the Cheery Cat Rescue folks told us that they would bring us in and help us find our people. There’s been a lot of adoptions going around, and apparently I need a profile to help me find my family. Here goes nothing.

My name is Clover and a good name it is, one of the first plants to green up in the spring, I love to get a head start on things. Okay, one thing: Play. I LOOOOOVE to play. I like to play more than I like to eat, or nap, or cuddle, and I’m pretty fond of those things as well. I guess you could say I’m a ‘Player’ first and foremost[1]. If you’ve visited us at Cheery, I am usually the first Spring you will see. My sisters are very nice cats, but they just don’t have my drive.

I was definitely the first of the Spring cats to warm up to Palace life, and I mean to cast no shade on my sisters; we came from a house with more than 40 cats, and with vet visits, vaccinations, and spending some time with our fosters, even the friendliest cats in the city can feel a little overwhelmed. Once I realized that there were plenty of folks coming though with pets and play on their minds I felt much more comfortable, but it’s still not ‘home’, you know?

I’m not going to brag, but I’m pretty good with other cats; obviously, I appreciate a proper introduction, but the rescue folks can help advise you on that front. I definitely need a home with another young cat to play with, my energy would probably be a bit much for an old-timer to deal with solo. I’m not sure about dogs, but I haven’t had the opportunity to make an introduction, with care I’m sure I could rise to the occasion. Being a Palace Cat, I’ve had plenty of opportunity to get to know kids, the respectful and playful ones I absolutely adore.

Meals currently consist of Ziwi Peak dry food and Orjien wet and I am loving it! I don’t have any allergies or dietary restrictions, so I am open to changing it up as long as we go slow and include a probiotic to help keep my tummy happy.

…Listen, I know I can come off as a bit of a ‘cool cat’, but at the end of the day, I want to be someone’s cuddly boy. If that sounds like something you would enjoy then, maybe consider putting in an application and coming in for a visit?
