Ah, finally my turn? Let me just snuggle on in there, no don’t get up, I’ll do this right from the crook of your arm. Hopefully, I’m not purring too loud? Excellent, where were we?

My name is Rainy Spring and I will have it known that I was named before the weather took such a precipitous turn to the precipitation. Those flooded basements aren’t on me. But I will say, having a soft and sweet young lady such as myself around to cuddle could really make those gray afternoons into something to treasure.

I came into care with a whole litter of kittens and our mother Bambi after we were all taken in by Cheery Cat Rescue. My sister Dew and I were a little bit older and so are the first of the Spring kittens to make it into Cheery Palace, the vanguard to a small army which you might know if you ‘follow’ the rescue; I don’t know what that means, but I’ve heard guests talk about it. (Editor’s Note: the rescue Instagram is a great place to follow along with the story of cats who haven’t reached the Palace yet or check out our Patreon if you want a peek behind the scenes)

Anyway, where were we? I do enjoy a spot of play, and will certainly need to have another young cat in the home to chase and wrestle but I do know how to be respectful around older cats so a senior in the home won’t have to worry about dreading their retirement. I don’t mind human children, as long as they are respectful. I have never met a dog so a slow and careful introduction there would be very appreciated.

I am currently enjoying my time in Cheery Palace, but I have to be honest, I would rather be home with you, bouncing off the walls or chilling on the couch. Please come for a visit and see if perhaps I’m the cat you’ve been looking for.
